You may discontinue carrying a particular product or brand of products.  To remove them from your active inventory in Ordoro is easy.  Rather than delete them and lose historical order data, you can archive items so they won’t show up in your active inventory but will still be available in Ordoro in case you’d like to bring them back.

ARCHIVE PRODUCT VIA PRODUCT DETAIL PAGE

1.  Go to the Products tab.

2.  Select the product SKU you’d like to archive.

3.  In the product details page, on the left hand menu, you will see Archive at the bottom.

4.  A warning pop-up will show up.  Click the orange button if you want to proceed.

5.  Your products have been moved from the Active inventory.  Note that they are still available in the Archived section. Click on Product Actions -> Archive.

6. To unarchive a product,  follow the same process as above. You will be able to unarchive the product at the bottom of the left-hand menu in the product details page.

ARCHIVE MULTIPLE PRODUCTS VIA PRODUCT LIST PAGE

1.  Go to the Products tab.

2.  Select the checkbox next to the products you’d like to archive.

3.  Click Product Actions -> Archive.

4.  A warning pop-up will show up.  Click the orange button if you want to proceed.

5.  Your products have been moved from the Active inventory.  Note that they are still available in the Archived section. To unarchive a product,  go to the Archived filter -> find the product -> select them -> Product Actions -> Unarchive.

  1. Under Products, click on Status -> Active. When the checkbox next to Active is checked, you will see all of your Active products.
  2. When you unclick the checkbox next to Active, you will be able to see all of the Archived products.

  1. When you click on the Reverse filter icon on the right side of the dropdown list of statuses, you can change the status to be Not Active, which will show Archived products.

ARCHIVE PRODUCTS IN BULK VIA CSV DATA IMPORT

You can archive or unarchive orders in bulk using our Data Import feature. Its very simple:

  1. Visit Settings by clicking on your company name -> Data Import
  2. On Data type select “Archive Products”.
  3. Download and match the example file: Archive Products-example
  4. Upload the CSV

WHAT HAPPENS TO ARCHIVED PRODUCTS AND THEIR ORDERS?

  • Orders with archived SKUs will still get imported and can be processed
  • Inventory quantities are still being reduced once orders with archived products get shipped
  • SKU specific automation rules will be applied upon order import
  • You will still be able to update product info via the Data Import feature
  • Manual orders can only be created via a csv Data Import (not via the Orders tab)
  • The inventory sync will be disabled to all carts the product is connected to and will remove those products from the active filter in the Products list page.
