Amazon Web Services has implemented a compliance policy for all third-party integrated applications to remove all PII (Personally Identifiable Information) obtained directly from Amazon after 30 days of shipment.

PII consist of the following:

  1. Customer or Seller’s name
  2. Address
  3. E-mail address
  4. Phone number

What does this mean for Amazon users in Ordoro?

Your Amazon order data will be visible in Ordoro for 30 days after the order is marked as shipped or has a shipping label created.

After the 30 day threshold, Ordoro will remove all PII data from orders not in “Awaiting Fulfillment” or “Dropshipment Requested” to comply with Amazon’s Web Services Data Protection Policy.

30 days after the order has been marked as shipped or a shipping label is created you will see this message in your timeline for all Amazon orders.

How will this change look in Ordoro?

This compliance will primarily affect orders in Shipped and Canceled, not Awaiting Fulfillment or Dropshipment Requested. It will also affect any orders that have been archived or merged.

Another area that this compliance will change is on the shipping label and packing list.

What should I do if I need to get records of my Amazon order information in Ordoro?

The order data will be visible for 30 days in Ordoro. You can run a CSV export to download order information for record-keeping.

Keep in mind that the 30-day threshold is a hard deadline — you will not be able to retrieve the before mentioned data after the period has passed. That said, you can always run a CSV export beforehand to download any info you require for your records. Below are the columns that the data would be removed from:
