In some cases, you may want to track the serial number of a particular product that you have been shipping out. This is useful for managing warranties, service requests, returns etc. Ordoro let’s you attach one or more serial numbers to every product that you ship through Ordoro. Here is how it works.

1. Once you prepare the shipments, before you ship them out, you can enter a serial number to every shipment line. Click on the shipment id and go to the shipment details page. In the “comments” section against each shipment line, enter the serial number of the product you are shipping out. You can leave it blank if you don’t have a serial number.

2. Let’s say a few months later you want to search who did you ship “HJWY263690” to. It’s easy. Just go to the shipments tab and type in that serial number in the search box. It will filter down to the specific shipment containing that product.
