Since Ordoro is a multichannel inventory management tool, it regularly updates your sales channels’ stock levels (Shopify, Amazon, BigCommerce, eBay, etc.) We use the Needs Sync filter to determine which items to update.

In Ordoro, you can manually put products into the Needs Sync status. This helps if you need to update inventory in your sales channels. To learn more about the Needs Sync status, see this support article.

How to mark an individual product as Needs Sync

1. Go to the Products tab and click the product name of the item you’d like to mark as Needs Sync. This will take you to the Product Detail page.

2. Go to the Sales Channels tab.

3. Under Status, select Mark as Needs Sync.

4. In the modal, select Yes.

5. The product’s Status should show as Needs Sync.

6. On the next inventory writeback task, Ordoro will update the inventory for this SKU in the sales channel.


How to mark multiple products as Needs Sync

1. Go to the Products tab and select the products you want from the Product List view.

2. Select Actions.

3. in the dropdown select Mark as Needs Sync.

Note: If products are sold on different sales channels, you can still put them into the Needs Sync status using this method.

4. In the modal, select Yes.

5. On the next inventory writeback task, Ordoro will update the inventory for these SKUs in the sales channel.
