How to require a Last Name at Checkout in your Sales Channel

USPS Ship requires a first name and last name for the recipient when generating a shipping label. If an order is missing this information, you will receive an error in Ordoro and will not be able to create the label.

We recommend requiring a full name at checkout to avoid delays. This article outlines how to do that in Shopify.

Shopify setup

1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
2. Click Settings in the lower-left corner.

3. Select Checkout.

4. Scroll to the Customer Information section.
5. Under Full name, select Require first and last name.
6. Click Save.
