How can I tell if Instasync is enabled?

  1. Click the Sync button in the top right corner.
  2. In the pop-up, you’ll see a lightning bolt and the text Order Instasync.

Is Instasync real magic?

Close. The technology behind the magic is called webhooks. Webhooks allow Ordoro to import orders and products moments after they have been created. Hence, as close to magic as we could get.

Does Instasync work for all sales channels?

No. Currently, Instasync works with our Shopify and BigCommerce integrations.

Does Instasync work for importing orders?

Yes! When an order is placed in Shopify or BigCommerce, the order will import into Ordoro within a few seconds.

Does Instasync work for importing products?

Shopify:

  1. By default, when a product is created in Shopify, the product will not automatically import to Ordoro.
  2. We have a beta option to import products once they’ve been created in Shopify.
  3. If you would like to import products automatically, reach out support@ordoro.com.

BigCommerce:

  1. By default, when a product is created in BigCommerce, the product will not automatically import to Ordoro.
  2. We have a beta option to import products once they’ve been created in BigCommerce.
  3. If you would like to import products automatically, reach out to support@ordoro.com.

Does it also work for exporting inventory?

Not at this time. However, as we gather more data, this may become a future option. The “Write Inventory Back” autosync task will still run on an hourly basis if enabled.

After an order or product is imported, will Ordoro automatically update changes made in the cart?

Not at this time, but this may be available in a future version.

After an order is imported, will Ordoro automatically cancel an order if it’s canceled in the cart?

Shopify:

  1. Yes, by default, when an order is canceled in Shopify, the order will auto-cancel in Ordoro.
  2. Only applicable if the order is Awaiting Fulfillment or Dropshipment Requested.

BigCommerce:

  1. No, by default, when an order is canceled in BigCommerce, the order will not cancel in Ordoro.
  2. There is the option to auto-cancel orders once they’re canceled in BigCommerce, as long as the order status is Awaiting Fulfillment or Dropshipment Requested in Ordoro.
  3. If you would like to have orders auto-cancel, reach out to support@ordoro.com.

After an order is imported, will Ordoro automatically update it if it’s archived in the cart?

Shopify:

  1. No, by default, if an order in Shopify has been archived, the order will not archive in Ordoro.

BigCommerce:

  1. No, by default, if an order in BigCommerce has been archived, the order will not cancel in Ordoro.
  2. There is the option to auto-cancel orders once they’re archived in BigCommerce, as long as it’s an Awaiting Fulfillment order in Ordoro.
  3. If you would like to have orders auto-cancel, reach out to support@ordoro.com.
