USPS Customs Tariff Code Errors

When shipping to a non-US address with USPS, you may encounter these two errors: .

  • Error 1101313 -Invalid/missing value for Customs.CustomsItems.hSTariffCode

  • Error creating label image: 65987321. Invalid/missing value for Customs.CustomsItems.hSTariffCode Additional Info: Tariff Code must exist and be 6 characters or longer.

This happens if the Harmonized Code is not added for each item on the Customs Declaration form or if the Harmonized Code is less than 6 digits.
