  • Why do I need a SCAN form?
    • A SCAN form is a convenient way for postal workers to scan 1 barcode instead of several hundred when collecting your packages or accepting them at your local facility.
  • Where do I change the Ship From address that is listed on the USPS SCAN form?
    • You can update the Ship From Warehouse in Ordoro under your warehouse settings. See this support article for steps.
  • If I create a SCAN form, does it automatically request a package pick up?
    • No, you will still need to go to this page on USPS.com.
  • Is there a maximum number of packages that can be on a single SCAN form?
    • Yes, typically 200, but this can be changed on a per account basis.
  • What is the cut-off time for creating USPS SCAN forms?
    • For USPS via Pitney Bowes labels and SCAN forms should be printed by 8:00PM local time
  • What if I have a package that wasn’t included on the SCAN form? Can it still be picked up?
    • Any package not on the SCAN form should be kept separate from the items that are on the SCAN form. You’ll do this so that it will get its acceptance SCAN by USPS.
  • Is it possible to create multiple SCAN forms a day?
    • You can create multiple SCAN forms. However, if you create a USPS label and then create a SCAN form, it will be on the SCAN form. If you then create another USPS label, it will be on a new SCAN form and not be added to the previously created SCAN form.
  • If I delete a USPS label, will it be on my SCAN form?
    • If you delete a USPS label before creating the SCAN form, the deleted label will NOT be included on the SCAN form. If you created the SCAN form and deleted the label after, then that label will still be included on the SCAN form. All you’ll need to do is follow these steps to delete the label in Ordoro, and we will automatically request a refund for you.
  • Why are my packages not included on the End of Day/Scan form?
    • The only packages that will be included on a USPS End of Day/SCAN form are the ones that have a ship date which is the same as the form’s creation date. For example, if you create a label on 06/30 with a ship date of 07/01, it will be added to the SCAN form that is being created on 07/01.
  • I created shipments last night after 11:00 PM CST, will they be on my SCAN form today?
    • If the label was created between 11:00 PM CST and 2:00 AM CST, it will not be included on a SCAN form unless you edit the “Ship Date” to be the next day.
