Ordoro includes unlimited shipping labels when you create them through our discounted carrier accounts (USPS Pitney Bowes, UPS by Ordoro, and Sendle).
If you’d like to connect and ship through your own carrier accounts (for example, FedEx, DHL, or your existing UPS contract) you’ll need to be on the Shipping Premium plan. This feature is called Use Your Own Carrier Accounts (previously known as the Merchant Carrier Module).

What does using your own carrier account mean?
The Use Your Own Carrier Accounts feature lets you connect your own negotiated carrier accounts directly to Ordoro. This means you can:
- Access your own contracted rates.
- Ship using carriers not included in Ordoro’s discounted programs.
- Continue using Ordoro for automation, batching, and tracking while maintaining your existing shipping contracts.
This feature is exclusive to the Shipping Premium plan.
Which carriers require it
If you want to ship through any of the following, you must be on the Premium plan:
- Amazon Buy Shipping
- Amazon SFP
- Australia Post
- Canada Post
- DHL eCommerce
- DHL Express
- FedEx
- UPS (your own account, not created through Ordoro)
Which carriers don’t require it
Labels created with Ordoro’s discounted carrier programs do not require Use Your Own Carrier Accounts and are available on all shipping plans:
- USPS Pitney Bowes
- USPS Ship
- UPS by Ordoro
- Sendle
These labels are unlimited and do not affect your Premium plan billing.
4. Billing and label volume
When you use your own carrier accounts, label billing works as follows:
- Premium plan includes access to the Use Your Own Carrier Accounts feature.
- Each billing cycle includes 1,000 labels created through your connected accounts.
- Every additional 1,000 labels adds $30/month to your subscription.
- This billing automatically adjusts up or down based on your shipping volume each cycle.
