How it works after setup
Once the feature is enabled:
- When you mark an order as fulfilled in BigCommerce, Ordoro will automatically update the order status to Shipped. See details about Mark as Shipped here.
- You’ll see a Timeline note on the Ordoro order that confirms the update. The Instasync webhook adds the note.
Example workflow
- You fulfill order 301 in BigCommerce.
- A few moments later, the same order in Ordoro is marked as Shipped.
- The update appears on the Order Detail page and in the Timeline section.
Limitations to keep in mind
Here’s what this feature does not do:
- Tracking information is not imported from BigCommerce into Ordoro.
- Inventory adjustments depend on the order status in Ordoro:
- For Awaiting Fulfillment orders: Physical On Hand quantity is reduced.
- For Dropshipment Requested orders: Physical On Hand quantity is not reduced.
