Manual Imports
If your supplier sends you spreadsheets with inventory updates, you can upload them to Ordoro.
- Use the data import tool in Ordoro.
- The SKUs in the supplier’s spreadsheet must match your SKUs in Ordoro.
- Works fine for a small number of suppliers, but not ideal if you have many.

Custom Integrations (API or FTP)
If your supplier offers an API or an FTP feed, you can connect it to Ordoro with the help of a developer.
- API option: Build a connection that posts inventory directly into Ordoro through our API.
- FTP option: Connect your supplier’s FTP feed so stock levels are sent into Ordoro.
- Both options require either a developer on your team or a contracted developer. Ordoro does not build these integrations for you.

Extensiv (3PL Central) Integration
Ordoro works with 3PL Central (Extensiv 3PL Warehouse Manager).
📌 To use this feature, you’ll need to reach out to your Account Manager to see if your account qualifies. Additional fees may apply.
- If your supplier uses this system, Ordoro can request their inventory.
- Quantities sync by SKU, ensuring your stock is always up to date.

Vendor Portal
The Vendor Portal lets your suppliers update inventory directly in their own Ordoro account, which then syncs back to you. This option works well if you want suppliers to manage their own stock levels but still keep your quantities current.
📌 To use this feature, you’ll need to reach out to your Account Manager to see if your account qualifies. Additional fees may apply.
Here’s how it works:
- In your account, create a warehouse for that supplier.
- Assign products to dropship from that warehouse.
- Ordoro creates a matching product in the supplier’s account.
- The supplier updates their inventory.
- Updated items move into the supplier’s Needs Sync filter.
- Once an hour, Ordoro copies the supplier’s Available On Hand quantity into your Physical On Hand quantity.
- Your account then updates your connected sales channels.

Things to Consider
Before deciding how to connect your supplier’s inventory feed, keep these factors in mind:
1. Warehouse Setup
- Do you want a separate warehouse for each supplier in your account?
- This lets you track each supplier’s quantities separately.
- It’s required if you sell the same product from multiple suppliers and want to see each supplier’s stock.
- If you only receive one product from a single supplier, you may prefer to keep it in your default warehouse instead.
2. SKU Matching
- Do your SKUs match your supplier’s SKUs?
- Manual imports require exact matches.
- If your supplier’s SKU is saved on the product but doesn’t match your Ordoro SKU, it can’t be used for manual uploads.
- However, non-matching SKUs can still be used in custom integrations, Extensiv (3PL Central), or Vendor Portal connections.
3. Products Included in the Feed
Confirm which products your supplier will send:
- Their full catalog
- Only active products
- Only items with a quantity greater than 0
- Discontinued products
- Other statuses you may want to exclude (example: NLA = no longer available)
4. Multiple Supplier Warehouses
If your supplier manages more than one warehouse, decide whether you want to:
- Combine inventory across all supplier warehouses
- Or map inventory from a specific warehouse only
5. Duplicate or Multiple SKUs
Check if the same supplier SKU could appear more than once. This sometimes happens if:
- You use multiple listings for SEO or sales strategy.
- You have different SKUs across your sales channels.
