If your listing violates eBay’s policies, they could unpublish the listing until it is corrected, and/or potentially make you relist altogether. Therefore, you’ll need to address the listing with eBay. You can refer to the information on eBay’s site here. But how does Ordoro handle listings with a policy violation with eBay? This article will help explain.

Will Ordoro still import an order that has a product with a policy violation?
Yes, Ordoro will still import orders with a product tied to a listing that is in violation. However, there are a few things to note:
- There is no visible indication in Ordoro that the order with the listing is in violation. You’ll need to check your eBay account and/or reach out to eBay.
- Because the listing will have ended, Ordoro will not be able to pull all the product details. In normal circumstances, Ordoro parses through the active listing to get the product information. Instead, Ordoro will rely on the minimal information supplied with the order to describe the product line(s).
- This could mean that the product imports on the order without the SKU you recognize. In this case, the product that was imported will likely be a duplicate of another existing product, but with a different SKU. It is recommended to archive this SKU in Ordoro.
- It could also mean that variant or other specific information is not fully described.
Can Ordoro manage inventory writeback to a listing with a policy violation?
Sadly, no. Once the listing is flagged as a violation, eBay will likely end the listing, even if temporarily. While the listing is in this state, Ordoro cannot write inventory to it. You will see an error on the product details page:

Once the listing has been addressed with eBay, you can move the product to Needs Sync per the instructions here. Note: it may take up to 24 hours before the connection to the product is re-established with eBay.
