- Length is greater than maximum allowed.
How to fix:
- This error happens when the entered dimensions exceed USPS’s package size limits. The specific size limits will be displayed in the error message and vary depending on the shipping service and package type. For example, USPS might restrict package dimensions to:

- To fix this, adjust the parcel dimensions in Ordoro’s shipping label panel to match the required limits, then try generating the label again.

- deliveryCommitment.
- Invalid ship date.
How to fix:
USPS requires same-day shipping labels to be created before 7:00pm CST. If you create a label after 7:00pm CST, the ship date must be set for the following day.
- In the Shipping Label Panel, select Additional Options.
- Scroll down to Ship Date.
- Click inside the Ship Date field and select a future date from the calendar.
- Generate the label again.

Error message examples are below. They include:
- Weight is greater than the maximum for the service
- Invalid or missing weight. Additional Info: please provide a non-zero weight
How to fix:
USPS requires package weight to be greater than 0 and less than 70 lbs. If you get this error, you’ll need to update the weight within this range.
If your package exceeds 70 lbs, you can split the order into multiple shipments and create separate labels for each. Click here for instructions to split your orders in Ordoro.
To resolve the error, adjust the weight in the Shipping Label Panel and try generating the label again.
