When managing your Kits or Bill of Material (BOM) products, it’s helpful to see which items are linked and where. The Kit/BOM Component Info section on the Product Details page outlines these relationships.
How to see Kit/BOM Component Info
1. On the Products tab, search for your product. Click the product name to see the Product Detail page.
2. Select the Kitting or BOM tab.
3. See the Kit Component Info or BOM Component Info box to the right.
4. This shows each Kit or BOM where the item is a component.
5. If you click on the Kit/BOM name (BOM SKU 1 in the image above), you’ll be taken to the Product Detail page showing all Kit/BOM components for that Kit/BOM.

1. In the screenshots below, the Krull DVD item is displayed.
2. It’s a component in two Kits:
- Fantasy DVD 4-pack
- Krull bundle
3. In the Kit Component Info, when I select the “Krull bundle,” the Product Detail page loads, showing its Kit components – DVD, promotional item, and movie poster.
How Kit/BOM Component Info is helpful
- This displays all linked Kits and BOM products at-a-glance.
- If you need to archive a product associated with the Kit/BOM SKU, you can quickly find all the linked Kits and BOMs and remove them. SKUs cannot be archived if they’re associated with a BOM or a Kit. See more details here.
