Syncing your Etsy orders with Ordoro has never been easier! With the new feature automatically marking Shopify orders as shipped in Ordoro when they are fulfilled in Etsy, you can streamline your workflow and reduce manual updates.

How it works after setup

With the feature enabled, here’s what to expect:

  • Order Status Update: When an order is marked as fulfilled in Etsy, Ordoro updates the corresponding order’s status to Shipped during the next order import. See details about Mark as Shipped here.
  • Tracking Numbers: The tracking information from Etsy is saved in Ordoro for easy reference.
  • Timeline Notes: You can view the update in the Timeline notes at the bottom of the order. Instasync webhooks will display the exact time of the status change.

Example Workflow:

1. In Etsy, your order status changes to Completed when you add shipping info.

2. The order will automatically be marked as shipped during the next Order Import. This includes importing the tracking information from Etsy.

3. Check the Timeline Notes in Ordoro to see when the status was updated.


Limitations to be aware of

Keep the following limitations in mind when using this feature:

  • Inventory Adjustments:
    • Awaiting Fulfillment orders: Ordoro’s Physical On Hand quantity is reduced for products on order.
    • Dropshipment Requested: Ordoro’s Physical On Hand Quantity is not reduced for products on order.

These behaviors ensure accurate inventory tracking based on the order status and fulfillment type.


How to enable the Feature

Follow these steps to enable the automatic mark-as-shipped feature:

1. Select your Company Name in Ordoro and select Account Settings.

2. In the menu on the left, choose Sales Channels and click Edit next to your Etsy sales channel.

3. Scroll to the section labeled Sync Settings for this Sales Channel.

4. Check the box next to Mark orders as shipped if order is shipped in Sales Channel.

5. Click Save to apply your changes.
