How Shopify order tags appear in Ordoro
Simply import your orders from Shopify to Ordoro. Any tags associated with those orders in Shopify will automatically appear in Ordoro. This is true for orders imported via autosync or instasync.

- If I delete a tag in Shopify, will it also be removed from Ordoro?
- No, deleting a tag in Shopify does not remove it from Ordoro. If you want to remove a tag, you’ll need to delete it both in Shopify and in Ordoro.
- If I edit or delete a Shopify tag in Ordoro, will the change affect Shopify?
- No, changes made to Shopify tags in Ordoro do not reflect back in Shopify. To make updates or remove tags, you must do so directly in Shopify.
- Example:
- You have an order tagged as “Electronics” in Shopify.
- You change the name of the “Electronics” tag in Ordoro to “Technology”, but not in Shopify.
- Later, you import orders again from Shopify. Upon this import, Ordoro will create a new tag labeled “Electronics” since it no longer exists in your Ordoro account.
- What happens if I have an existing tag in Ordoro with the same name as my Shopify tag?
- There will be two tags in Ordoro with the same name. One that you originally created in Ordoro, and another that has imported from Shopify.
