If you fulfill Walmart Marketplace orders using a custom carrier, such as a local delivery service or freight provider, you can still add tracking details in Ordoro. Walmart requires a valid tracking number and a tracking URL when using custom carriers in order to mark the order as shipped. This helps ensure your order status updates correctly and supports a strong seller rating.

Why do I need to add the tracking URL when a custom carrier is selected?

If you are creating labels in Ordoro with a connected carrier account like USPS, FedEx, DHL, etc., you won’t need to worry; Ordoro will post back to Walmart automatically with a tracking URL. But if you’re adding tracking information to an order using a unique or custom carrier, you will need to add the tracking URL. Otherwise, the tracking will get rejected, and the order will not get updated as shipped in Walmart.

How do I add tracking to my Walmart orders?

Refer to this help article for steps on how to add tracking manually or in bulk via data import. Note: you cannot add the tracking URL via data import currently. This option will be available in the future.

When using a custom carrier, be sure to include the tracking URL field as shown below.
