Magento error “credentials could not be validated”

If you have just connected your Magento store to Ordoro, or have been updating Magento settings, you may see an error in Ordoro that reads:

Credentials could not be validated

To fix this error, you will need to turn off WS-1 Compliance on your Magento server. To do so you will:

  1. Login to your Magento Admin
  2. Go to Systems
  3. Select Configuration
  4. Select Magento Core API
  5. Select WS-1 Compliance
  6. Turn WS-1 Compliance OFF

Updating this setting should allow Ordoro to connect to your Magento cart.
