Walmart Order ID vs. PO ID
Walmart orders have two types of identifiers: the Order ID and the PO ID. The Order ID is a unique identifier for the entire order, while the PO ID is used for individual purchase orders within that order.
Here’s an example from Walmart. The screenshot below shows one order with two different PO numbers.
How orders are imported
In Ordoro, we use the Walmart PO ID as the main identifier for orders. This ensures that each purchase order is tracked accurately within Ordoro. The Walmart Order ID is also saved in Ordoro but placed in the Internal Notes section.
Finding order information in Ordoro
- PO ID: The Walmart PO ID will be the primary identifier for your orders in Ordoro. You will see this ID listed as the Ordoro Order ID.
- Order ID: The Walmart Order ID is saved in the Internal Notes section of each order. This allows you to search for orders using either the PO ID or the Order ID.
