Shopify setup

In Shopify, you’ll find customs information under the Shipping section of each product. There are two important fields you need to fill out:

  1. Country/Region of origin: This is where the product is made.
  2. Harmonized System (HS) code: This standardized code is used to classify your product for customs purposes.

Importing to Ordoro

When you first import your products into Ordoro, these fields will automatically transfer. In Ordoro, you’ll find this information in the Customs Declarations section on the Product Detail page:

  • Country of Origin
  • Harmonized Code

This information will automatically populate in the Customs form when you ship internationally.

Important notes

  • Post-Import Changes: If you update the customs information in Shopify after the product has already been imported into Ordoro, these changes will not sync automatically.
  • Manual Updates: You can manually add or update the customs information directly in Ordoro for any existing products.
