To find out if the destination country’s Customs considers your shipment dutiable or non-dutiable, please use the DHL Dutiable Status Determination feature by following these steps:
1. Log into your DHL Express account
2. Go to Ship -> Create a Shipment
3. Enter the shipment information
4. On the Shipment Details page, choose the Help me determine if my item is a document
5. In the popup, choose the shipment product type from the Select items applicable to your shipment list
6. Select the Determine Overall Shipment Type
7. The results will display if the item or items are Dutiable or non-Dutiable
**If the results are designated as Dutiable, select the “Is Dutiable” option in the label panel under Advanced Options when generating a label in Ordoro.**
