Yes, you can schedule a FedEx pickup in Ordoro to collect your packages directly from your warehouse. This feature is ideal for eCommerce businesses that ship with FedEx and want a convenient way to manage outgoing shipments.

  • Important Note: FedEx does not allow for same-day pickups through Ordoro. If you need a same-day pickup, please contact FedEx directly at 1-800-Go-FedEx (1-800-463-3339).

How to schedule a FedEx pickup

  1. Go to the Orders tab.
  2. Click Actions in the upper right.
  3. Select Schedule Pickup from the dropdown.

In the Schedule Pickup pop-up, complete the following fields:

Required Details

  • Carrier: Select the FedEx account you’re using for the pickup.
  • Pickup Location: Choose the warehouse where FedEx will collect the packages.
  • Pickup Date: Select the date of the pickup.
  • Ready Time: The earliest time FedEx can arrive.
  • Close Time: The latest time FedEx can arrive.

Pickup Type

  • Pickup Date Type: Choose Future Day (Same-day is not supported via Ordoro).
  • Type of Pickup: Choose FedEx Ground or FedEx Express.

Package Details

  • Package Location (for FedEx Ground only): Choose where the packages will be located:
    • None
    • Front
    • Rear
    • Side
  • Oversize Package Count (if applicable):
    Enter the number of oversized packages.
    • FedEx defines oversize as packages over 96” in length or 130” in length plus girth.
    • Charges are based on the greater of actual or dimensional weight, with a minimum billable weight of 90 lbs (except for Express International shipments).
  • Quantity: Total number of packages being picked up.
  • Total Weight: Combined weight of all packages.

Click Schedule to finalize the pickup.


Pickup confirmation

After scheduling, a confirmation banner will appear at the bottom of your screen. Be sure to note the confirmation number in case you need to reference or modify your pickup later.
