If you are on WordPress  version 2.7 or above, then Ordoro uses OAuth over HTTP for authenticating your WooCommerce api connection –

  1. Inside your WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Checkout. And make sure that SSL is disabled. Because WooCommerce has a known bug which causes OAuth to fail if SSL is enabled.
  2. Inside your WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> General. And make sure the Enable the REST API option is checked. This should be checked by default.
  3. Inside your WordPress admin, make sure that Permalinks are enabled
  4. Inside your Ordoro account, go to Settings -> Sales Channels. Click “Edit” on the WooCommerce channel and make sure that the url says http:// and NOT https://

If you are on WordPress version 2.1 or above, but below version 2.7, then Ordoro uses Basic Auth over HTTPS for authenticating your WooCommerce api connection –

  1. Inside your WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Checkout. And make sure that SSL is enabled
  2. Load the https://website in your browser. Make sure you are not seeing any SSL error
  3. Inside your WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> General. And make sure the Enable the REST API option is checked. This should be checked by default.
  4. Inside your WordPress admin, make sure that Permalinks are enabled
  5. Inside your Ordoro account, go to Settings -> Sales Channels. Click “Edit” on the WooCommerce channel and make sure that the url says https:// and NOT http://

If you are on a WooCommerce version below 2.2 –

  1. WooCommerce API is not available for your version
