If you are in Version 3 , this article is not applicable. The Orders tab has absorbed the Shipments Tab in Version 3

 

Orders: The order placed in your sales channel, by your customer.

Shipments: The packages that you are breaking that order in to to ship to your customer.

In Ordoro, we track both your orders and your shipments. The reason this is important is so that your orders that come from the sales channel are what the customers purchased, and the shipments are all of the shipments you sent to that customer.

For example, a customer can place 1 order, but you may need to ship 3 boxes to them. This would then display 1 order and 3 shipments.
