Ordoro’s Shipping Panel now includes a small but important update to how you enter package weights and dimensions.
This change helps ensure the details you enter are always saved exactly as intended — no missing decimals or overwritten numbers.
Why We Made This Change
Previously, the Shipping Panel refreshed rates in real time as you typed. While this helped display updated rates instantly, it occasionally caused issues, especially if you entered numbers quickly or made small adjustments (like typing 15.99 oz).
With this update, you’ll click Save once you’ve entered your final values. This extra step ensures your information is captured correctly and helps rates load faster since Ordoro now waits to refresh rates until after you save your complete weight and dimensions.
The result: more accurate data, faster rate loading, and a steadier label creation experience overall.
What’s Changed
- When you enter weights or dimensions, a modal window now opens.
- You’ll type your values, then click Save.
- Once saved, Ordoro will update your rates using the values you entered.
- You’ll no longer see rates refresh automatically while typing.
