Pre-Inventory SYNC Checklist:
1. Do NOT Sync inventory to your sales channels until you’re 110% sure Ordoro reflects to most up-to-date inventory quantities.
2. Make sure your SKUs match across all your sales channels.
- If SKUs do NOT currently match, please call Ordoro support @ 512.271.9453 ext. 3 to speak with a representative on what the best way is to approach this step
- Editing existing SKUs can cause inventory sync issues and discrepancies
3. Audit products in Ordoro to make sure there is only one SKU per product
- Having two different SKUs in Ordoro tied to the same item in your cart can cause inventory sync issues
- There might be old SKUs in Ordoro and Ordoro will have two products trying to write inventory back to one product in your sales channel
4. Archive any old SKUs – see this support article on how to archive SKUs.
5. Update your inventory in Ordoro – see support article on how to use Data Import feature to update inventories in bulk.
6. When updating your Physical On Hand quantities do not account for the Committed quantities – count what is physically in your warehouse.
- Close out any old Pending/Awaiting Fulfillment orders
- You can find these orders in the Orders tab –> In Process/Awaiting Fulfillment filter
- See this support article on why orders stay in the “In Process” filter and how to handle them
7. Set Max Export quantities per product and cart if necessary – please see this support article on what is Max Export and how to set Max Export.
